The aim of this scoping project is therefore to facilitate discussion among individuals and organisations with a commitment to raising the knowledge and skills base of practitioners involved in building the foundation skills of Australian adults.<\/p>\n<p>ALA are hosting a webinar to provide feedback on the discussion paper \u2013 \u201cScoping a Foundation Skills Professional Standards Framework\u201d. This webinar will be facilitated by Louise Wignall.<\/p>\n<p>Louise Wignall has worked in the education sector for the past 25 years as a teacher, resource developer, policy advisor and quality assurance manager with a specialisation in adult literacy and learning in the community, vocational education and training (VET) and the workplace. She is currently involved in a number of national and State-based Foundation Skills initiatives at both a policy and implementation level.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who is a foundation skills specialist?
